INTRODUCTION:  The Float is pneumatic and when Inflated, it serves as a floating pier for the KM Bridge.

CONSTRUCTIONAL DETAILS:

SALIENT FEATURES:

• The float has 12 equal capacity outer compartments with one valve each and one inner(centre) compartment with 4 valves.
• When inflated it is prism-shaped with lifted bow and stern ends, which are reinforced with rubbing protection strips at corners.
• The float bottom is also provided with 8 numbers of rubbing protection strips.
• Both float is provided with 28 straps for tying the saddle assembly to the float.
• It is deflated, rolled up and packed in a cover ‘Paulin Assembly’.
